As I mentioned before I have acquired a new job.... in no small part to an awesome new friend. So let me tell you how I came upon this new job, it really started towards the tail end of my last post about my life. I was getting fed up with the GLOBAL car windshield replacement and repair company and I wanted to find something closer to my house. Naturally I go looking at the closest place i can find that has a bevy of options for me to inquire about...... the mall.... Yes I can hear you peoples of the Internet now.... “why would you leave a GLOBAL company to work at a mall” well the short answer to that is DISTANCE. Yes taking a pay cut does suck but when you live 5 mins away from our job, you make it up in the fuel you would have spent going to a job that's an hour away... every day.... in traffic.... in a jeep that isn't exactly the most reliable mode of transportation I have had. But that's a story for another time..... getting back on topic here. As I was searching the mall for my next “job”, I just happened to be in the right spot at the right time (well my wife was in the right spot at the right time... I was asking the cleaning crew at the mall if they had any spots open... that's how desperate I was to leave the shitty place.) when the security guard for the mall asked my wife if I was looking for work, and my wife being the super social butterfly that she is told her my life story. Turns out that the mall were looking to take on some new hires... (the first person to crack a Paul Blart joke will be maced and handcuffed o a cow that was fed burritos for dinner....) What I didn’t know at the time was the security guard that told me to apply was going to turn out to be a new good friend of mine. Jump to a few weeks later and BOOM... I got the job, mainly because of Toni (last name with held until I can clear it with her to use in my blog.) she really pushed for me to get this job... all after maybe talking to her for all of 5 mins. I really cant thank her enough, this job so far (i have only been working as a security guard for 6 months) has been the best job I have ever done. Wait I take that back.. that word JOB... I have worked jobs before but this... this is going to be my career. The sense of duty, pride and accomplishment I have working here is something I have never felt before. Yes I know right now I am only a mall security guard, but hey you have to start some where right? I have always wanted to get into the security field, but in NY it is very hard. Mainly because you have to pay to get a licences and that is very very expensive, and the only way to get a job in security is to have experience. So yeah go figure right, cant get the license because its expensive and cant get the job with out a license. Back to my topic yet again, I have found my calling.... people have always said I should be a bouncer or a body guard... mainly because I am built to look tough and mean. But working here has just made me realize the potential I have in my self to go far in this field. And now 6 months in I feel like I want to become a police officer. I can utilize my experience here in the mall and translate that in to a law enforcement career. I know its not going to be easy, and I know its not going to happen over night, but I am going to use this JOB as a mall security guard as a stepping stone to bigger and better things! My ultimate goal is to take all my security knowledge I have now and will get in the coming years and put that towards a career in law enforcement and hopefully take the law enforcement and turn that into a private security career. That's where I ultimately want to take all of this, Private Security. Nothing crazy like Academi, but something in those lines.

So now here comes the fun part.... I have caught everyone up on my life up until now.... Now its time to have some fun. I will be regaling everyone with my stories that I have acquired over the past few months. Some personal and some from work related happenings. Some of it might suck and be boring and hopefully some will be funny and intriguing. You all should know by now that I really don't hold back on here and I kinda speak my mind (because that's how I type... what ever comes out of my head goes down on paper.... not exactly English major stuff here but hell its my brain and this is how it works!) So sit back and enjoy the ride because I am going to be making this blog a regular thing now......

Till next time......

If you don’t know...... now you Yeknom!

The Wedding.....

Now on to the wedding…
I am not going to bore you fine people with the planning of the wedding but I will tell you this.. We both did not want a huge wedding and we both did not want a stuffy and boring wedding (sorry to those who have typical weddings and the lot but we aren’t like that.. but to each their own). So we decided on a VEGAS WEDDING! Not the little white chapel style but a semi-traditional wedding type. The biggest thing we wanted to get across in the wedding was that we wanted to have fun with the people we love. We wanted to share our happiness not hoard it to ourselves. The venue was the Hilton grand hotels roof, on April 9th 2011. We invited 25 of our immediate family and closest friends. When I said we were going to have a small wedding, I wasn’t kidding.

The wedding itself was pretty straight forward... the priest said some words... we repeated those words and boom... we were married. You guys know the part of the ceremony when the priest asks the father who is giving the bride away. Normal people would just say I and her mother do... but nope... not us. My wife tells my father in law to say “Daddy-o and Momma Dearest” (god i love my wife). You would think that on the most important and touching day of her life she would want to proper.. but nope that's why I married her.. because she can have fun in ANY given situation. And I have to admit when I saw Cyndi coming down the aisle I nearly lost it and almost broke down and cried.... you would have too!!!!! so shut up!

I asked my best and longtime friend Danny to be my best man. We go back… wayyyy back and I couldn’t think of anyone else that I would want next to me on such a big day. Oh and our reception was at Lowery’s …. If you haven’t been to Lowery’s YOU DO NO KNOW WHY YOU ARE MISSING! They have THE BEST and when I say THE BEST prime rib I mean it…. I know my meat! I got the King cut… that is over 2 inch thick cut of prime rib… on the bone.. and I ate it all… when I say all… I mean I gnawed on the bone for a good 30 mins. For the reception after the amazing meal we did the “traditional” stuff.... dad and daughter danced... then son and mother dance... you know the “normal” stuff. But the funniest thing of the night was when we did the throwing of the garter/flowers my mothers boyfriend (yes my parents are divorced) and my fathers girlfriend caught them...... yeah.... i busted out laughing!!!! Then we got into a party bus that was supposed to take us around the stirip and show us the sights... but that was sort of a bust because the limo service canceled on us at the last minute and we had to find a replacement.... this happened twice to us! But all in all this was the best wedding that I will ever have... I spent it with my best Friend, my wife and all of our closest family.

Ok I am jumping around here so bear with me… its 5 am and I am writing this as it comes to my mind.

But before all of that happened we got to spend a couple of days in Vegas baby! The first thing I did was head out to the casinos… and when I tell you I had lady luck on my side you better believe it. So I had a friend at work give me $10 to play on 31 at the roulette tables as a wedding gift. So there I am with my soon to be wife, my best man and 2 great friends (they are my wife’s best friend and her wife…. Yes they are partners…. Just letting ya’ll know). Now I am chomping at the bit to plop this $10 on a table and see where I takes me but my best man Dan tells me something that everyone should do. He says “you need to find a table that is packed with people so when you win big EVERYONE knows!” So we all go looking for the most packed table we can find… and we come across a table in the Paris hotel and casino that is so full that I had to sort of elbow my way in. I get my $10 in chips and put it on 31…. And let it roll! As the ball goes round and round the wheel I am thinking to myself “yeah 31 is not going to hit and I just blew $10 on a game a random chance and luck” but then as the ball started to make is final circle around the wheel I get this strange sensation like something is about to happen…. *tink tink* the ball drops on its final resting place….. 31….. all I can tell you is that everyone at the table stopped and looked at me (mainly because I was shouting and clapping my hands and high fivin anybody and everybody around me… and I might have said HOLY FUCKING SHIT…. In a not so subtle voice) but you know what… Dan’s advice worked… I won big ($310 which pretty much paid for the food and drinks for the honeymoon). This was a good start to what was going to happen while we were in Vegas.

Till next time......

Let the Yeknom be with you.... I have another post for ya’ll (don’t judge, I have been living in the south for 3 years now and their langue is rubbing off on me a little bit.) and this time you don’t have to wait 2 years for it! Woot…. Yeah I rock hahahah.

I last left off with the nail biting cliff hanger of me getting married. Well it wasn’t a big cliff hanger but maybe a little teaser. Any hoo… Yes I am happily married to the love of my life, my best friend my everything. In true fashion the proposal was not your everyday romantic grand gesture. I didn’t take her out for dinner and hide the ring in a cheese cake (why anybody would ruin perfectly good food by hiding a gold or any other type of metal object in it is beyond me), I didn’t put it in a champagne glass full of champagne (or any other liquid associated with a proposal). You get the point right? I didn’t do a typical romantic proposal… nor did I do an over the top write will you marry me in the sky or billboard or jumbo-tron way. I proposed to her on our “monthiversery” which was on October 21st. Cyndi (who is the “her” in this story) was sick and stayed home that day… I just happened to be off as well. I picked the ring up the day before and I was itching to pop the question (I am horrible with keeping surprises or things of that nature). I carried the ring with me all day… we went to the grocery store to pick up so comfort food because like I said Cyndi was not feeling good and I wanted to make her happy. Ok back to the point now… now it’s the big moment… now is the time I made up my mind in my head how I was going to propose to her. She was lying on the floor (because that was the only position she felt comfortable in) and I asked her “what would make you feel better right now?” and her response was to look at her left hand (to those that don’t know why that hand is so important Google it) and sigh. At that point I got on one knee (the tears were already starting to flow… from her…. And from me) and I asked her “in sickness and in health….. will you marry me?” Queue the tears and screaming (as much as she could she did have a sore throat) and she said YES!!!!! Then to celebrate the momentous occasion… we had shake and bake chicken and milk… I told you this was not a normal proposal in any way.

Next you shall sit there in front of your computer and read about the wedding.... and other stuff that happened before the wedding....

till then... Yeknom and forget about it!

Its Been Awhile....

So I am back…. Again…. And I know I say this time I am going to stick around for a while and post more often… and this time it is true (partially).

Since I last left off I was starting a new job (again) and I had plans of telling everyone out here in Internet land that I recently got a new pup….. and got MARRIED! Holy crap did I say married? That’s right interwebz I got hitched and I am no longer a sad lonely guy on the web (not that’s there anything wrong with that life style if you choose it… or if it is the hand that fate gave you… no judgement.) But before that (yes you English majors and English freaks out there I suck at composing sentences and I don’t give a shit because this is what is spewing from my head as I type…) (great mental image there right!) I would like to tell you guys what has happened in the almost 2 years since I have last posted.

Yes I did start a new job after I quite my last job working for T-mobile…. Well not really T-mobile but a shitty 2nd party cell phone store that had the privilege of selling there phones and contracts. But anyway….. I found myself now employed by a large GLOBAL company that does windshield repair and replacements… not going to name names because like I said they are GLOBAL and in these days one little wrong word typed anywhere on the web can get you sued and taken to jail apparently… and I don’t really know anybody in Anonymous that would even bother to help me out if I got into any shit… but that’s besides the point. So here I am ready to embark on a new journey of employment. I started out as a part time CSR (customer service rep) at there in house call center. Oh I forgot to tell you that this job is about an hour away from my house…. That comes into play later on in this gripping story that is my life… (sarcasm does not translate very well in type… we really need hand and eye gestures to get that point across.) There I am all nice and sitting down (finally) at my new cubical waiting to be trained. Mind you I do have experience in customer service but I was not prepared for the type of bullshit I would have to pull out of my ass with this job. I will make a long story short….. like I said I was starting off as a part time CSR… then some one thankfully quit and I became a full time CSR…. Then a month or so after that I became the parts manager for this area (Raleigh, Durham, Fayetville , Greensboro and Wilmington) one would think that the title of manager would garner a higher pay rate… NOPE it was basically you will do this or we will fire you and find some other poor smuck to do it… and seeing how by the grace of god I have this job I was left with little choice. So I become the new parts bitch.. I mean manager, and it was great until I found out that a spot for a Market dispatcher came open…. With the promise of a raise that I desperately needed. So I applied for the position and I got it! Hooray for me… more responsibilities and more pay! Fuck yeah! I was told that I would be making good money soon I just needed to get through the 30 day probation period… which was understandable. The last 4… yeah that’s right 4! People that had this position either quit or had nervous break downs. And you think I am kidding you with the nervous breakdown parts… but I wish I wasn’t… the last guy that had my job one day got up from his cubical screamed and left the building and never came back….. fun right! But anyhoo back to me and my story….. so fast forward 6 months…. 6 whole fucking months and NO RAISE!!!!!! I am starting to get pissed and my moral is at a low right now… I am struggling to pay bills that me and my then girlfriend had… I was commuting an hour 1 way and that was killing me.. So I went to my boss who is now the new general manager and asked him what is up with my raise…. And he tells me that he has to wait till the new year….. well great time to tell me!!!! If you would have told me that in the beginning I would have been understanding but noooo you have to blow smoke up my ass and tell me its coming…. So I wait…. And the new year comes… and then they have the balls to tell me that I need to have a yearly evaluation before I can get my raise…. OK I ask him how that works and he tells me that I need to get with the operations manager… who is never around. But finally I get a hold of this crazy lady…. And ask her to do my eval… and this is the kicker right here folks…. SHE CANT DO IT!!!!! Only my manger can… who is the GM who told me that my operations manager has to do it…. HOLY FUCK PEOPLE DO YOU SEE THE VISCOUS CIRCLE OF SHIT I HAD TO DEAL WITH!@@#!@ OK…. Deep breath and exhale.. phew OK I good now. I finally get her to do my eval and then it needs to get kicked up to the GM who then kicks it back to me to sign off on the that kicks it back to the operations manger how has to sign off on it again to kick it back to the GM who has to sign off on it to kick it up to his in line manger to approve the pay increase to then kick it to HR to approve the approval of the sign off on the eval to then kick it back down the GM to put the raise into effect to then push off to pay roll….. :OASDHFLKADSHF:OASDHUIAHNDUIFGOJH ß that’s my brain exploding from the massive amount of bullshit that went on there. (and if you think I am blowing out of proportion…. I am not and I could easily show you the paper work if they didn’t delete it after I left). So yeah in the end I did not get the raise, my mind was shattered, my home life was falling apart because I was paying more to go to work than I was making. So I had enough… I went looking for another job… and when I tell you I was lucky when I found this job……. I was fucking LUCKY… Apparently there are no more jobs anywhere in the entire USA… I know this because I applied to ALL THE JOBS!!!!! I even applied to be a dishwasher at a hospital that worked 14 hours a day… they didn’t even call me back!!! So finally one day I went to my local mall and applied to every (almost) store in the place and finally one of the security guards that works the mall overheard me asking if the janitors were hiring. (I have my new lease on life and my new career to this guard who I have to get permission from before I can release her name). She literally took a big risk on my and told me to apply. So I did… and met with the director of security and BOOM! I got the job!!!!! YEAH BUDDY!!!! I am 5 mins away from the mall, I can see my wife (I will explain in the next post) and life couldn’t be any better. It could get better but I was still working for the other GLOBAL place. I went back and told them I am not working dispatch any more…. I want to work in the warehouse and only work 30 hours a week… they agreed… but not liking it. Again long story short, I worked for the warehouse for about 3 weeks and then they fired me on some bullshit reasoning that they have yet to prove to me and show me facts… but fuck them and there failing business…. They are a bunch of mismanaged assholes that will drive the company into the ground and they will all lose there jobs.. but yeah… I love my new job! Again I will explain what it is I am doing and what it is I want to finally do with my life later…. This is just a recap of what happened after my last post… as you can see it was a fuck ton… and there is a lot more coming later on!!!!

Till then,

Stay Yeknom my friends!

I'm Back the Redux

Well well well, I tried to make a comeback and thought I could stick it out and make some more posts but as you can clearly see... that was not the case. So let’s try this again, this time I think I can keep it going!

Ok so I left off with me going on vacation to Mexico, and I got a new job at T-mobile. Ok I am going to start off this come back with a BANG! The vacation to Mexico…… I cannot make this stuff up even if I was a master of litterateur.

So here we are on a plane to New Orleans to hop on a cruse ship to Mexico, this is the first ever vacation me and Cyndi are taking…. EVER! You would think that we would be super excited pee your pants happy... right? No…. well yes we were excited but here is the kicker, Cyn was sick. I’m not talking “oh I got a little tickle in my throat” sick I'm talking about turning 3 shades of green then white sick. She is having hot flashes, fever of over 100 degrees and a soar throat to the point of not being able to swallow. Here we are in New Orleans hours from getting on the ship and she is feeling miserable and to boot she has to put on a smile and everything so we could get on the ship. Ok to put this in perspective, the time we are getting on the ship was the same time the Swine Flu pandemic was in its height of paranoia. So anybody that was coughing or looked funny was not getting on the ship. There was no way we were going to miss this vacation so we had to look like a million bucks even though we (mostly Cyn) felt like death. Fast forward…… we get on the ship no problem and we are in our room now and Cyn is trying her hardest to put on a brave face and go out and have fun. That is just not happening; the first day on the ship was spent in the cabin sleeping. I am the kind of guy that will do anything for my girl even miss out on fun things because I want to make sure she is feeling good. I don’t mind it, people say “do you feel bitter for having missed so much on your vacation?” the answer is NO! If I was bitter or pissed about missing things then shit I would be a bitter grumpy 25 year old. I take things as they come and make the best out of it. Ok enough of that rant time to give the highlights of the trip.

Even though Cyn was running a fever of 104 and she couldn’t swallow her own spit, we still managed to have a blast on the ship. First off the food…….. Holy crap in a bag it was AWESOME! Dinner was freaking awesome, I felt like a king. I was ordered 4-5 different entrees for dinner. Braised lamb? Sure why not let me also get the steak, fish, chicken and throw in your first born as well. Man I ate like I have never eaten before! From the breakfast bar and me loading up on abo0ut 5 pounds of bacon a day to the all you can eat ice cream, yeah it was good. When I wasn’t eating everything in sight, we were in Mexico and had an amazing time. We saw the ancient Aztec ruins, did some amazing shopping and took tons and tons of pictures. Those were the highlights of the trip. It turns out that when we got back from the cruise to Mexico and we were back at home we found out that Cyn had the Swine Flu. At least that’s what the doctors told us (but who really listens to them anyway).

Ok now you have all the info you could get on our vacation to Mexico, now it’s on to the fun/boring/my life. As stated in my earlier post, I got a new job at T-mobile. This is where the fun begins, well sort of. My first week on the job I had already put in for vacation (the Mexico trip) and missed 2 training classes. That’s beyond the point, this job is idiot proof, and the location I work at is pretty rough (lower income Durham, NC). The first month I was there I was told never to make the bank deposit at night because I will get robbed (that’s comforting) and I was also told that I will get robbed, everyone at that mall has gotten robbed at least once (again comforting to know that). I made the most out of the situation, I thought to my self “I have a job, I am making money, and this is making Cyndi happy at home I can suck it up and do work!”

Ok it was fun for the first couple of months, but things started to go down hill from there. I was only making $8 an hour and the commission structure was complete bullshit. I had to hit a certain number a week and if I didn’t hit it I would not see a penny of commission. I was working 35 hours a week and not making any commission because at the mall I worked for the people there had no money and all the phones we had cost more than what the peoples unemployment checks had. Things were looking down for sales until I convinced my manager to get us some free phones, now things were picking up for me at the phone store. I was hitting commission and making some money. Then people started to quit, and I was left without a manager, and without any help. Isn’t that some bullshit, I am working 12 hour days 7 days a week and I don’t get any help, and the help I do get….. Oh this is good. I get a manager that is a midget with a napoleon complex and his obese coworker named Freeze (this asshole had that name on his name tag). Long story short they both got fired for hitting on a 15 year old girl and making lewd comments. They got what was coming to them (oh! And the midget was stealing phones form the company and selling them on Craig’s list, that guys was a freaking genius!). Ok it wasn’t all that bad I must say, I did meet some interesting people while working there. Such as the stripper mom that paid all here bills in $1 bills. Oh and a girl that got out of prison about an hour before comes in to get a phone and tells me she has no money but she will do sexual favors for a cell phone (WTF I have a girl friend that I love and she was nasty looking). Now the really fun part of my job, the sales contest. My boss was awesome, he is the owner and he was very hands on. He wanted to challenge us during the holiday season so the contest was to sell 50 phones in 3 weeks; the prize was trip to Vegas on his dime. Well all I have to say is that I won and boom Vegas baby!

I am thinking to myself now, I won a trip to Vegas and things are going to turn around for me at work. I was wrong, seriously wrong! The owner hired another manager for the store and this guy was a doozie! This guy had a rotten front tooth and looked like he was on meth 24/7. This guy would lie to me and not show up for his shift (which would put me again in 12 hour shifts). Finally I got fed up with his crap when he called out saying that he had to go pick up his kid from school and the next day I asked him why he didn’t show up for the next day shift and he told me he had mouth surgery the other day. LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I am pissed off with his whole work situation and the kicker for me was the owner puts his coke addicted brother in charge of the store and this guy hires a new coworker. I don’t mind that he hired a new guy but he had no experience and he was just very very weird. I have been working for them for about 10 months and this new guy comes in and acts like he is the manager. Making the schedules and all that stuff. He even went as far as to make a schedule give it to the owner and then change it the next day and didn’t tell me, I drove to work and he told me that I had a day off. That’s when I decided to look for another job. It took me about a month to find a new job (where I am right now and I am very very happy with, I will detail that in the next entry). So I wanted to talk to the guy who hired me and made me all theses promises and such to tell him I was leaving and was putting in my 2 week notice. The sad part was I wanted to be professional about it and give my 2 weeks but when the owner doesn’t return my phone calls and blatantly ignores me; I lost all respect for him and decided to take things in my own hands. So my last day I worked a 12 hour shift, counted the money and walked out lock the door, took the key off my key ring and chucked it in the middle of the store. The next day when I didn’t show up to my shift the new guy (who doesn’t have my number) facebook messages me asking me if that was my key in the middle of the store. I told him yes and I quit! He goes on and says this ruins his plans and that I cant do that. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH screw you buddy! 2 weeks later I go in to collect my last paycheck and the new guy starts to berate me and I am not having it. Mind you I am 5’10 290lbs football playing guy and this guy was a 5’6 fat boy that was getting up in my face. So I told him the nicest way “FUCK OF YOU SQUISHY FACED FUCKER!” then took my check and flipped him off.

Now we are caught up on the important things in my life that I want to go into today. Hey I need to have more things to write for later. So here is a preview for later entries; a new job, a new puppy, a new car and nuptials!

Till then

Stay in the light of the YEKONM!

I'M BACK!!!!

Well hello all, I apologize for my long absence from the blogging world. A lot has been happening since the last post I have made. Where to start... where to start??? OK this is a good jumping off point.... as I told you before when I moved down here I got a job as a administrative assistant at a housing complex. Well that is no longer what I am doing.

The housing development I was in was great, they were training me to be a leasing consultant and I was going to be very happy there. As it turns out my string of bad luck was just about to happen. I go into work one day and start doing my normal routine of answering the voice mail and checking the vacant apartments and my then my assistant manager told me that he was leaving the company. He had already let the main boss know what was going on, and that threw her into a panic and she started to look for people to fill his position and... MINE! So I am thinking to my self " Self, what the hell am I going to do now!? I have no other job openings that I can see and my money is starting to be replenished..." (yes I use big words in my head... thank you very much!) So it turns out that there is a lot of training that is involved with leasing apartments, and I just couldn't be trained in time for what they needed. So one Thursday I went to lunch and I was contacted by the temp agency that put me in that location and they told me not to return to that location.... i felt like I hit a brick wall going 300MPH! I didn't freak out though because I thought that the temp agency would find something else for me... oh how I was wrong!

After the temp agency told me not to return to work I started to go out and look for a job. I got to tell you that in this economy and the job market of today it is very very very very hard to find a job! I was out there everyday looking for something... anything... but I just couldn't find anything. My money was dwindling and things on the home front where not getting any better.. Yes my girlfriend loves me but when she has to pay for everything and start sacrificing things that she wants to do it just gets to you... and it is not fair.. not fair at all. I would get these interviews and they would turn out to anything and finally... finally I got an interview that looked very promising....

That interview was for a car dealership, well as I find out it was for a recruiting agency for a car dealers. So I go to this interview/training thing with an open mind and ready to do what ever it takes to get a paycheck. Oh just to keep the time line in your head, I moved down here in the very beginning of June, I lost my apartment job around the middle of June.. right around the time of my birthday... now it is July and I am doing this interview for the car dealership people.. so there is the time line.... OK back to the dealership thing..... So I get to the hotel that the interview/training is taking place... and I am the only "professional" looking person there, and there was about 15-20 people there. This interview/training thing is about 5 hours long and gives you all the tools to start out selling cars, it is really a good training program.. but at the end of the training I had my interview and I was told that I would be making at least $40,000 a year plus commission and that was great! So I leave my interview and I am all happy and excited to go to the dealership and get my job! On the way home I was behind a truck and all of a sudden a rock hits my windshield and it chips!!!! FUCK!!!!! So now I am pissed at this now.. and as I am driving the chip turns into a crack.. ... then into a long spider of crack.... my day went from WHOPOO HOO to SHIT!

So fast forward a few days and I am outside a Saturn dealership and I am called in for an interview... 1. I thought I have already got the job and 2. I was told that I was the only person to be interviewing with them that day and it turns out I was the 2nd person there from the training seminar from the other day. So now I get in with the manager from the dealership and he is talking and we get to know each other and things went well.. up into the point that I asked him what the salary was and he told me that it was a salary it was only commission and I nearly fell off my chair... I finish the interview and even before I left the lot I call up the place that set up the interview and told them it was a commission only job and that I wanted another assignment. They were "shocked" that the place was commission only and they set me up with another place and this dealership was about an hour away from where I live.. so that sucks! So the next day I head on over to an auto park that is an hour away and the same thing happens to me again... the whole deal was a commission only job. No I am very frustrated and near the breaking point.

So there I am.. no job, barely any money, and tempers are starting to boil over. Just as I thought I was never going to find a job I get an email from a cell phone company... dun dun dunnnnnnnn.. VERIZON! So I am bouncing off the wall with excitement in anticipation for this great new adventure selling Verizon Wireless! This is where things go from bad to absolute worse... OK time line check in time!... Now we are about 3 weeks ago from today.... So back to what I was saying... The first day of work and it is paid training at $8/HR and after the first week it will then change to $7.25/HR plus commission so that's not that bad. There I am first day of work and I get there and I am told to have a seat and that training will start soon..... 4 hours later I am finally getting a chance to fill out paper work and start my training. So that is the start of what is going to be a bad bad series of events to come.

Now it is the second day of work/training and again I get into work and I am told to sit down until training continues, but this time I only wait 2 hours before I start training again.. now there is another new person that is training with me and he has to get caught up and I am once again casted to the side. Now this is when things get really messed up. I overhear the new guy ask the manager about the pay structure and he is then told it is a commission based system... that's when my ears perk up and I told the manager that I was told that it was hourly plus commission and he proceeds to tell me that no one gets paid a hourly rate besides the regional managers.... So I kinda lose it and told him that he lied to me and that this isn't Fair, and the manager told me if I didn't like it then I could leave.... so I did! That was a huge mistake.....

This is the shitty part of my story that I completely brought on myself. When I get home I tell my girlfriend that the manager left early and that I was not allowed to stay there with out him and I got out early (LIE!). Then the next day I told her that I was going into to work and that I had an interview at 4 with another company (part LIE! and part truth.). I stayed home and attempted to clean the house when all of a sudden she walks in on me when she thought I was at work and she figured out that I lied to her... Now she leaves and things just go from bad to even worse because my mother is coming into town and my girlfriend isn't exactly a fan of her (my mom has made some mistakes but she is trying to make those mistakes go away) so now my girlfriend is completely pissed at me to the point of not talking to me... Then it hit rock bottom the next night when she walked out on me... just a reminder I BROUGHT THIS ON MYSELF! So I go out the next day to go job hunting and I go to the North Gate mall to continue the search. I happen across a T-Mobil store and hand in my resume.... Then had a mini lunch with my mom and her boyfriend and then I call my girlfriend that has spent the day with her brother in law. I told her I missed her and that I was worried about her and when I was done with the mall I went over to the brother in laws house to talk... I understand now that LIE-ING is very very bad and that I need to communicate better with her and not make rash decisions without talking with her first.

Time line check time!!!!!! Present day as of today... well this past week. I get a call from T-Mobil and he wants me to come in for an interview. So the net day I go in for an interview and it goes really really well... so good in fact that I GET THE JOB!!!!! This is a hourly plus commission. I have been working for T-Mobil for about 4 days now and everything is going great. Also on the home front things are starting to get better....

OH also I am going on vacation in 2 weeks! This is the first vacation me and my girlfriend have been on together in the past 5 years of our relationship. We are going on a cruise to MEXICO and we are leaving out of New Orleans.... Oh and we are staying in New Orleans for an extra 3 days after our 5 day cruise... I am super excited about this vacation that we both desperately need...

Well that has caught you up for now.... there are some more stories from the past couple of months but those are for later... the next entry will be about my "BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!"

Till then Stay YEKNOM and stay Everlasting!!!

-Brian

New Beginnings

Well it has been a minute in a half since I posted anything... with good reason. I have MOVED TO NORTH CAROLINA! Yeah it has been a crazy few weeks, with all of my packing and driving and such.

I have moved in with my lovely girlfriend cyndi, in a nice one bedroom apartment in the lovely town of Durham, NC... This town is great, we are close to her sister and brother in law and those two are great people to be around. I am in the process of finding a new job after the one that got me down here has fallen through. My manager was seriously bipolar so it was only a matter of time before it went bad. So I got an interview today for a admin position at a hosing complex.. full time and makes good money and the best part is...... it is a 9-5 job which is perfect!

well that's it for now... I'm off to eat lunch with Cyn and get a tour of her job which she works at the EPA.. how cool is that?!

Till next time... Forever YEKNOM!

SPRING TIME!!

Well, I haven't posted in a long ass time so on this rainy day I thought it would be appropriate to fill you all in on how everything is going. I got to admit it is going GREAT! It's officially spring time and I couldn't be happier that it is nice and sunny outside, well except for today since it is raining.

Another great thing that has happened is that I am back together with my girlfriend and I couldn't be happier now. I am currently on a quest to find a job by her in North Carolina so we can finally get our lives going together. It is hard to find a job when your not in that state your looking in so that is why I am taking a week and a half break from my current job and heading down there to find my self a job! There are 2 benefits to this move, 1. I can focus and really hit the pavement hard and get me that job down there 2. I get to spend a freaking week and a half with my awesome girlfriend!

Other than that I haven't done to much with my life right now, I go riding as much as I can, light permitting. I also made a really good friend on XBL and a Dance Off enemy on Twitter. I will explain later about the dance off enemy (lol). Its fun to have someone that plays the same game as you, but shit he is a good street fighter player, kicks my ass all the fucking time!

well there is not much more that I can deem worthy enough to tell you guys, all I know is that the next time I make a posting its going to be me telling everyone that I have moved to North Carolina!

Till then Stay YEKNOM and stay fresh!

-Brian

OUCH!

Well yesterday I was riding my bike down a pretty challenging hill, well its not really all that challenging but after not riding for 5 years it was challeneing to me... ok. So I was bombing down the hill when I slid out on a bunch of rocks and I went tumbling down to the ground... I have a feeling I blacked out, but I am not to sure. Well anyway my day was shot so I packed my bike in my car and went home, my neck and back were KILLING me. My best friend was ice, and a hot shower. It turns out I hit the ground a little too hard because my helmet was cracked and my rear rim bent... so it's costing me $40 to fix the rim and I have a old helmet I can use for now. So yeah I am out of commission till Saturday..... On the up shot I might be participating in a bike race in May some time. So I have a couple of weeks to get into racing form, or at the very least not die of exhaustion

That's all for now.

Till Next Time, Stay YEKNOM!

The Rush Feels So Good

Well as I told everyone in the last post I went and got my race bike all tuned up and the other day I took it out for a good spin. I miss the feeling of blasting down a challenging hill. You just can't beat getting outside and not think about anything but whats right in front of you!

So today I went out to the like bike path in Yorktown and just rode for a couple of hours. Not to challenging just needed to get out there and clear my mind, there have been a lot on my mind and I wanted to get some clarity and just rode. Boy am I rusty when it comes to wheelies, I use to be able to ride for miles on one wheel. Now I can only go a couple hundered feet... its a bummer but just wants make me want to get better.

I really got to find a helmet mount so I can take some epic moives lol.

Well till next time, Stay YEKNOM and stay in the light of the YEKNOM!

-Brian

Why Isn't It Spring Yet?

I hate all of this gloominess outside, just soooo depressing outside right now. I haven't posted in a little while so I wanted to let everyone in on what I have been up to....... Not a whole lot lol.

I have recently started to go back to the gym and started my diet, which is a lot harder to do when your not in the right frame of mind. But I am doing it, also I have lost 5 pounds already... WOOT! Now that the sun is starting to come out little by little I am going to start back up my mountain biking love that I once had. See back in the day when I was a wee lad of 15 I use to ride in the NORBA series of racing, and I was pretty good at it, until I took a bad spill and kinda gave up on it. So I think it is now time to dust off my race bike and start hitting the mountains again. I love the feeling of grinding up a challenging hill to have the thrill of coming over the peak and just blasting down the other side. God I miss that and will be getting back to it...... expect videos of me blasting the hills!

So other than the working out and getting back into mountain biking I have really haven't done that much. Oh I came up with my new tattoo idea and its going to be the KONAMI Code with the power symbol on my wrist like a bracelet. I think its unique and really shows my love of gaming and my devotion to keeping the gaming side of me intact because I really do love gaming, it has kept my hopes and dreams alive and is a good way to make friends and its another form of competition. Plus you don't have to be the best to enjoy the thrill of gaming!

Well that's all for now if anything happens that is of post worthiness then I shall post it.

Till Next Time Stay YEKNOM and Stay saved!

-Brian

Only Time Can Heal This

Well it has been a couple of days since I have posted so I think today is a good day to post. I really don't know where to start because my life has just been turned on its head in a matter of a few days. My girlfriend that is now my ex-girlfriend has recently left me after 5 1/2 years because she does not feel the butterflies anymore and that we have nothing in common. I was planning to move down with her and start my life with her very soon and now that she has left em I need to re-evaluate my life and its goals. So in order is my new life plan (So far)

1. Go back to school
2. Get back into shape
3. Finally get my second tattoo!
4. Have fun with friends again
5. Find someone that loves me for who I am

Those are my goals for now, they may change they may not change but the important thing is that I am setting them and no one else is. Time to take my life and put it back into my hands.

Yesterday was my best friends wedding, a cruel twist of fate that his wedding was actually moved up a week. I called him on the off chance that he wnated to hang out and when I called him he told me he couldn't today because he was at the church ready to get married. Holy shit I told him and he said to me please make sure your here I couldn't get a hold of you for a while and it would really mean a lot if I knew you were there. So I had 30 mins to take a shower, Eat, Shave, Dress my self and make it to the church..... and it was all accomplished and I got there on time, well late the bride was late hahaha.

So I know am starting a new life of self exploration and self discovery.

Have A YEKNOM Day!

-Brian

Friday the 13th

Well, today is Friday the 13th and most people associate the number 13 as a bad omen and especially if it falls on a Friday. I am not one of those people, I don't believe that the number 13 is unlucky nor do I think that Friday the 13th is the worst day combination of the year. I today had a great day to be honest with you... although I did do something uber embarrassing, but I will get to that later.

I haven't posted anything in a couple of weeks because nothing really that interesting happened to me in the past 2-3 weeks. I usually go to work, come home, eat, then game till I fall asleep. See now isn't kinda boring? Really if you read that day in and day out you would not want to read this blog.... really I wouldn't lol.

So today I wake up and find out the hard way that we have no heat in my house.... so no heat means what.... come on take a guess....... figure it out yet? No, OK take a couple more seconds........... OK times up, what that means is that there is no hot water, not a drop. A little back story to go with this is that I am not a morning person, I can barely function until I get a cup of coffee into me. So I wake up and get naked and turn on the shower then I go check my mail.... Yes I check my email in the nude..... you might think that is weird but I am actually multitasking. See I turn on the shower and let it warm up, that takes about 3-4 minutes to do so, so I go to my computer and check my email to check if there is anything good.... most of the time there isn't much good but sometimes a get a nice surprise. So anyway back to my morning, as I finish checking my mail I get up and head to the shower.. now usually I check to see if the shower is warm but today I was in a rush and just jumped in..... and that's when I found out there was ABSOLUTELY NO HOT WATER!!!! There I am still more than half asleep and naked jumping into a FREEZING cold shower and if you could see my face and hear me scream you would think I saw a ghost while simultaneously being murdered.... go ahead and just picture that............ OK.

So after my "refreshing" shower I get ready and head out to work. That was mostly uneventful except I was stuck behind a old lady that was doing 20 MPH in a 40 MPH. So that was frustrating but the kicker was that when I got into work she was one of our customers, and she wasn't all to please with me because I was "kinda" tailgating her and I "Might" have passed her on the road. But damn shes is pushing 90 years old and really really shouldn't be driving. My coworkers agreed with me and told me they all would have done the same but they would have flipped her off as they passed, I didn't do that I was a little bit nice to her as i passed.

there I am at work and doing my normal thing, take customer, give out cash and all that jazz. Then one of my coworkers who has been dealing with a jeweler that has her expensive diamond bracelet in his possession for about a bout finally gets it back. Here is the kicker I look at the bracelet and the clasp that had broke off which is why she took it there to get repaired looks like a 4 year old went at the clasp. The solder (I didn't know solder sounded like SODDER, damn my dyslexia)job was horrible. She then told us how much it was going to cost her.... go ahead and take a guess................ nope your wrong..... the guy had the balls to charge her $150!!! I was pissed and you got to know that the lady that this happened to is the most timid little thing and the most kind hearted person you will ever meet. This fuck bag tried to take advantage of her and that just isn't right. So I told her that WE are going back to this guy and telling him WE are not happy with this.... She was scared shitless when I told her this, but she said OK. I got to tell you I am not a guy that likes confrontations I generally avoid them at all cost but when you try to fuck over a god person I will go ape shit on your ass! So I take a walk down to the jeweler and this guy is the typical scuzzy jeweler type, I tell him that the work he did was shit at best and for him to take his work off the bracelet. He complied with the utmost quickness, I am a big guy and he really really didn't want to get on my bad side. At this point my friend is turning white, and that is really hard to do because she is born and raised Irish lol. She was so happy I did that for her that she couldn't stop thanking me. I didn't do it so I can be thanked I did it because some slime ball tried to take advantage of her and that just isn't right.

After that little experience it comes time for me and Donna (a coworker of mine) to close up the bank and start proving up. So I am standing next to a fan because it is god awful hot in the teller station and I am working on running the checks and all of a sudden I sneezed and this was one of those sneezes that you lose control of everything and I mean EVERYTHING.. and I then proceeded to fart something nasty like one of those gut emptying farts. I am no standing there thinking to myself "god I hope no one heard that." Oh boy was I wrong, it was the sound that got to them... It was the smell. I hear Donna ask me " why do I smell sauerkraut? Brian do you smell that?" I tell her no because at that point I am like oh shit. After my boss leaves the tellers station I go to Donna and tell her that she wasn't smelling sauerkraut it was me and I had a sneeze that caused the gut clearing fart, and she just couldn't stop laughing, we both couldn't stop laughing it was fucking funny! I love the girls I work with, this stuff is funny and not disgusting!

That was my day today, wasn't it just full of ups and downs, conflict and resolution, flatulence's and laughter. Just a really really great day when it comes to Friday the 13th. Oh and today is exactly 6 months till my girlfriends birthday so happy 6 months to your birthday birthday!

Till Next time same Yeknom channel same Yeknom time, (not really, when ever I feel like letting you all know what is going on :) )

-Brian

The Good Stuff Keeps On A Rolling

I got some more great news today from the lovely world of Twitter! I got home from work and I see a Tweet from Trixie360 saying that she has some Halo Wars Limited Edtion Games that she is giving away, special preference to people that the economy has screwed. So I told her that I am at a bank that is not doing so hot right now (which is compeltley true) and boom I got a FREE copy of Halo Wars Limited Edtion coming to me. How freaking sweet is that, the other day I get some sweet ass gear from Skate 2 and now today I get some even more sweet ass swag from Trixie360! Like my girlfriend says, " good things come in 3's" so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the next email I get is from a employer from N.C. asking me to come in for an interview!

Other than the news of more sweet sweet swag nothing really happened today that would require me to let the world know...... well maybe..... no thats about it I am going to go and hit up some fools in Street Fighter IV. Oh yeah thats something of note....

Street Fighter IV that past couple of days has been a cruel mistress to me, one day I am on top of my game kicking ass and taking names and yesterday I couldn't win to save a monkeys life. I went 7-10 last night not the worst but still it was not a good night. I use Ken and it is hard when I go up against Blanka, he is a pain in the balls in the right hands. On a side note I hate it when people call me a noob for using Ken, for the love of god I am good with him and I know his moves so why the fuck wouldn't I use him? Really think about it, if you were good at something or good with a certian thing wouldn't you want to use it to the best of your abilites? Or would you appese the masses and use something or do something that is totally foreign to you just to make other fucks happy? Well that felt good to get off my chest.... Now I feel like kicking some ass!

Till next time, keep your heads high and your YEKNOM higher!~

-Brian

SWAG!

Allrighty then, here it goes....

Yesterday was a great day to be me! It first started off with a semi-snow day, I had to go to work but there were no customers and I got to eat sushi for lunch. So I get to go into work and get paid to do absolutely nothing and to top it off I got to eat some really good sushi.

The snow was fun and I got to go and drive my Subaru in the snow which is always a fun time (although my girlfriend hates it when I go out and have fun like that in my car.... sorry babe!).

Now here is when the fun really starts! I get home after "working" all day, I go and do my usual routine of stripping out of my work cloths and get into my relaxing home cloths, then I hop online and check all of my Tweets I missed during the day (since I don't have a smart phone anymore), then I hop on XBL and get to gaming. SO now you know my routine. As I start getting into a game of Street Fighter IV (which by the way is freaking AWESOME!) I hear a tweet come in from Twirl and it was a @ message to me..... So I check to see what it is and it says....

Hippyjump: Congratulations to @BigB1347 for winning the Skate 2 Shoes and Custom Deck. Thanks to everyone who entered, more giveaways coming!

I now am slightly freaking out a little bit because.... shit I never win anything online, there are thousands and thousands of people that see the same thing I see and go and do the same things I do so me winning anything like that is a million to one (not really but the odds are not that great in my favor). I get on the phone and I call my girlfriend and tell her the good news, (I love that she loves it when I get excited like that. She really accepts me for who I am and what I do... even when its pretty dorky sometimes). So yeah I won a pair of kick ass etines Skate 2 RVM shoes and a custom deck from Skate 2! So I got to say thank you again to @EA and @Hippyjump for having this contest!

Now I am off to get some more gaming on and maybe some sleep because I have work in the morning.

Till Later Be Good and Stay YEKNOM!

-Brian

My Bed Time Story

Well I have just written my literary master piece Called "Squeakers" and now for the whole world to read..... This is the story that my girl friend wanted for about a week now, so I took the time and wrote her the best bed time story that I could possible think of...... ENJOY!

Once upon a time in a far far away land lived a ducky named squeakers. Squeakers lived with his 5 brothers and 5 sisters all older than him. Squeakers was not like the rest of his family, he didn't like to go swimming in the pond, he would rather sit on the beach and watch the waves as they come into shore. He didn't like to eat crackers that the humans gave him, he would rather eat cheese that he got from his mouse friends. He really didn't like to fly south for the winter he really really enjoyed the snow and liked making snow ducks.

One day one of his brothers asked him why he like to do all the things he did and squeakers told him that he wanted to be different so that he could stand out from the rest of his brothers and sisters. His brother looked at him with a realization that his little brother wanted to be so much like his other brothers and sisters but it was hard because there were so many of them. So now Squeakers and his older brother started to hang out and do the things squeakers liked to do. They would go out and fly backwards and bark like dogs, just to be different.

He and his brother really loved to hang out and do really weird things together. They were nearly inseparable until it came time for the great migration down south. The brother didn't want to leave Squeakers behind but he was to afraid not to go. Squeakers was OK with it and told his brother he will always love him and he will be right here when he returns home. But the brother decided to stay with him, whats the point in being weird if you cant share the weirdness. It turns out that weirdness brings people together and he wouldn't have it any other way.

Till The Next Time......... BE GOOD AND RESPECT THE YEKNOM!!!

-Brian

Wow Nothing!

Allrighty then I didn't do a damn thing today and that felt great. Well you must be thinking to yourself how can somebody do absolutely nothing now or days and I say on to you...... its easy. Sometimes you just need to kick back and just relax and just do nothing. I'll be honest I did do a little bit today, I woke up at 1 pm and did laundry, that was the extent of my work for the day. The rest of the day was devoted to playing games and kicking ass and taking names.

My gaming marathon kicked off with GRID, for those who are not familiar with the game I will fill you in on it a little bit............ IT IS FUCKING AMAZING! It is the best racing game that I have picked up in a very long time. Sure it isn't a Grand Turismo it still is one of the most exciting , polished and fast game I have played. I was hell bent on getting some gamer score out of this game if it killed me. There were 1 achievement that was mocking me for the longest time and that was Gentlemen Driver. That required you to not touch another racer for the whole race, and that is no small feat with me..... I like to smash into things muahahahaha. So I finally got that one and then went for 3 more. I unlocked Power Seller ( Sell a car for more than its worth), and 2 that came with the 8-Ball DLC. One was Drift Master ( Obtain 99x Combo in a single drift combo) that one took a little bit of time since getting to x99 was new adventure to me. The farthest I previously got was x75. So that was pretty cool when I Unlocked it, then I went and unlocked Clean Passing ( Start from the back of the pack with an 8-Ball car and make it to the front).

The next game in my marathon was Skate 2, I just wanted to play this game and really didn't have any gamer score to obtain just wanted to have some fun before I went and played with the guys tonight in Call of Duty: World at War.

Great segway into the finale game of the day/night..... Call of Duty: World at War. Tonight was an especially fun night since we got 6 guys with us and we rocked the house and didn't lose a single game.

I am so tired right now and going to wrap this up and say that after watching the Nitro Circus tonight on MTV is that Travis Pastrana is a crazy dude. He nearly killed him self while jumping into the grand canyon.

Till Tomorrow, Stay tight and stay right!

-Brian

Just One of Those Days....

Well where to start with today, where to start. At work today it was the start of everyone having to work all day. All I have to say is that we all got a little delirious and had a little too much fun at work today lol. I can go into detail but damn I was laughing so hard I can barely remember what was being said. So other than that work was fun and no hold ups that's always a plus.

My night tonight consists of me and my 360, and what a combo that makes lol. So I started out the night with a little Lost and The Damned. That was fun until I got stuck on a stupid mission where you have to kill a bunch of Angles of Death with pipe bombs and that frustrated the fuck out of me. I then proceeded to switch over to Call of Duty: World at War and played with my cousin and his friends and that I played from 8pm till about now which is about midnight...... and it was great. The best moment of the night happened when B Bomb was one kill away from getting dogs and is down but not out and is calling for some one to revive him and one of our new friends Jak hammerd goes right over to him...... looks at him and then......... shoots him in the head! He pressed the wrong button and all of us started to bust out laughing and I think I nearly pissed my self. It was that great!

While I was playing I got a text from my girlfriends sisters husband asking me to bring down my twister bed playing sheet. I think to myself, self how does he know that? and then it hits me that Cyndi told them lol. So now the cat is out of the bag and they all know that I have a twister sex mat lol. Now I have the husband texting me and Cyn texting me and all at the same time so I respond to the husband and then to cyn. So now I am texting the both of them and Cyn is getting upset because I am texting the husband first and mind you I have a new phone that is not a text friendly phone so it is hard as balls to text people. So one thing leads to another and she calls me a doche bag lol hahaha. So the husband tells me that they are all sitting around the dinner table and don't want to get up and they all don't want to talk to each other so everyone decides to text random people and that is how it came to be that I get called a doche bag lol.

So other than that my night has been uneventful and otherwise non-entertaining.

Till Tomorrow,

-Brian

Hey!?

All right time for another installment of what I call my life.

As it turns out the fall out from the new hours at my bank might just be beneficial for me, although it couldn't come at a worse time per-say. As I sit at my station I over hear one of my co-workers tell her husband on the phone that she is going to quit and look for another job, well shes going to quit when she gets the job she isn't that dumb lol. So a person in my shoes (part time teller with no benefits to speak of) would be jumping for joy at the prospect of moving up the ladder and getting paid more and getting benefits. Right well, I am caught in a conundrum in that I am currently looking for full time work down in North Carolina so I can be with my girlfriend. Yes, you might say that is dumb to move to be next to your girlfriend but, she is the one for me and will be my wife and I want to be as close to her as possible and being in New York is killing me. Also my house is falling apart at the seams (family not structurally) so that is another reason I want to get the hell out of here. If I get the move up to a full time teller that will delay me leaving this house and prevent me from being next to my one and only. That's where I am in this mixed up world of adult hood. Now on to the less depressing stuff OK...... OK!

After work I come home all geared up to play some Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and The Damned expansion. That was until I get an interesting Tweet from EA..... there is new DLC for Skate 2!!!! and guess what it is................................ Rob's Fantasy Factory! Holy crap is this not the most amazingly detailed skate plaza I have seen in a video game. The only thing I wish that they had was the foam pit...... I know what your thinking and that would be a nightmare to have to render all of those foam cubes or that just wouldn't fit into the dynamics of the game, but come on how cool would that have been to come flying down the factory into a giant foam pit. OK moving on, I down load the DLC and get to playing and all of a sudden I get a message saving that I just got some gamer score and look to see and boom this expansion comes with gamer score. I thought it was just going to have a new park to skate and that was it but what a surprise to find gamer score to go along with it. That just makes me happy that you get something back when you shell out $5 in DLC and get something back more than you expect.

Now I sit here in my broken Papasan chair and I am watching the Office and really want to go play some Lost and The Damned now.......... So I am..... LOL

Till next time, this is your everyday gamer saying good night and respect the yeknom!

-Brian

Back To Work

What a day this has been today.... well not really but I'm going to make it as exciting as possible lol. So today was my first day back to work and it went swimmingly because I had a tummy ache this morning and for all of those who know me, that is definitely not a good thing to start the day with.

As I am getting ready to walk to my car to go to work I checked my email and discovered that my preorder of the new Street Fighter IV game was not purchased, and that really got me upset because it was the special edition and now I look on Amazon and its $104 NEW!!!!! So I was a little upset but no big deal.

I finally make it to work from my grueling commute (5 mins if there is traffic) and I get in and the ladies are not in the best of moods. It turns out that the bank is now looking and is going to be open an hour later now. That might not seem like much but hell these ladies were ready to bite heads off, they are very very set in there ways and this might just send some of them over the edge to retirement. That would be great news for me in that I would now have a full time job but I am looking to move to North Carolina and that would delay my move which would really really suck. Now the ladies are upset and they want to know how my trip was and if I found a job down there. I told them no but I am looking and they immediately said "Fuck that your ass is staying here until this time shit blows over!" Once again this is a direct quote from one of the ladies there and is in no way changed or re-worded. Other than that exciting tidbit of information work went pretty good, no one tried to hold us up and all the crazy insane customers stayed at home.

Now as I go to relax and get comfy I get an email from Amazon telling me that they were unable to process my debit card and I needed to re input my card again. Being a little suspicious of that email I decided to have them call me. They have this neat little feature that has them call you when you want to talk to a representative. A little screen pops up and says "Call Me" then it I press it and it says "Calling" then "Ringing" and holy shit the phone is ringing and its them. The little things like that blow my mind sometimes. So now that is all taken care of and ready to ship on Monday, I am a happy camper now.

To hold me over at least will be the new DLC for GTA IV as in The Lost and The Damned. So far my first impressions is that this is no just a mere add on but a whole new game with a new way of using the world around you in a different light. I have only played maybe an hour of it so far but I am loving it. Another game that will make up for most of my gaming is Call of Duty: World At War, which I usually only play with my cousin B Bomb and his friends FoxRiders88 , Tiny Blue Pony and Zak Bauer 24 . Oh yeah my name on Xbox Live is BigB1347 , the creation of my name is from my nick name which is B and I am also a pretty big guy so that's were Big comes from and the 1347 at the end is a combination of my girlfriends lucky number "13" and my lacrosse number "47", there you go that's where my name comes from.

Now that I have given you insight into my day and my mind I leave you off with this.... RESPECT THE YEKNOM!

Till tomorrow when the light breaks and the world awakes,

Brian

First Of Many

Well were to start... I am getting into the whole blogging world because of my lovely girlfriends blog. I want to bring to this blog a sense of my every day life and mindset that goes with it, your going to find what has happened in my day, the games I play and what I think about them and your also going to find what I feel is going to be the most entertaining blog out there (I have big aspirations)

So lets see here, I am 23 years old currently living in the state of New York in a small (really really small) town called Crompond. Go ahead I will wait for you to go and google it..................................................... back OK as you can see my town is UBER tiny. There is not much to do around here other than go out with friends and play games. Well that's at least what I do personally. Currently I work at a even smaller savings bank called Emigrant Saving Bank of New York. Don't let the name fool you this bank does not service the state of New York, mostly the city and when I say the city I mean maybe 10 banks in the WHOLE city. I like what I do and love the people I work with, they are as they put it; "A bunch of post menopausal crazy women." That's there own words.

Let start this blog of right with what my day consisted of.... and we are off!

Today I left my girlfriend's apartment in North Carolina after spending the best 5 days there. I flew down there for Valentines day and the weekend it self. I had so much fun and ate really well ( you will learn that I LOVE FOOD!). Cyn' who is my lovely girlfriend had a surprise waiting for me when we got back to her place. She made me a rice krispieheart with marshmallows that were in the shape of a "B". That was just the start of the great weekend I had there.

So I can go more into that or you can just check out Cyn's Blog that will give you more detail on what we did that weekend at You Call This Work...

So back to my busy day of traveling, it all started when I got up at 5 am to make it to the airport by 6:55 am flight. So that wasn't toooo bad I got to the airport in plenty of time. The only thing that sucked was that I was seated next to a big guy and that should never happen, to big guys next to each other on a plane is a bad thing, well at least uncomfortable.

Got back to NY without a hitch paid for the long term parking and got home and went to sleep..... which I need to do again.

Till Next Time,

Brian
